Lyra Hilliard
I joined UMD in 2009 as a Lecturer in the Academic Writing Program and currently teach in both the Academic and Professional Writing Programs. As part of the Provost's 2011 Blended Learning Initiative, I helped design and implement blended sections of English 101 and now serve as the Coordinator of Blended Learning for the Academic Writing Program. My research interests include creative nonfiction, composition and rhetoric, digital learning technologies, blended and distance learning, and the impact of undergraduate TAs in writing classes.
