Emily Lyons Flamm's writing appears in literary journals (New England Review, Michigan Quarterly Review, Grist, The Carolina Quarterly), humor publications (McSweeney's Internet Tendency, The Belladonna), and elsewhere. Her writing has received significant support from the Lawrence Foundation Prize, the Maryland State Arts Council, and the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference. She teaches creative and professional writing.
