Writing Center tutors James Gray and Dionte Harris joined a select group of invited students at the Naylor Undergraduate Writing Research Workshop, Nov 14-16 at York University of Pennsylvania. Along with 14 other invited undergraduates from four states (all awarded scholarships to attend), they participated in workshops, discussions, and individual meetings with mentors to consider and refine research projects. Mentors, too, were invited, and included Leigh Ryan, Writing Center Director, and former UMD English Department graduate students Bill Fitzgerald (Rutgers University-Camden) and Lisa Zimmerelli (Loyola University of Maryland).
