Remembering Virginia Beauchamp

Virginia Beauchamp, Professor Emerita and dear friend to many passed away on February 10, 2019. Professor Beauchamp enjoyed a long career in our department and was instrumental in starting Women's Studies at UMD.
She will be formally acknowledged at the President's annual Recognition of Women's Issues on March 27, 2:30-4:00, Stamp Student Union Atrium. There will also be an event scheduled sometime in May, time and location to be announced, celebrating Professor Beauchamp's many accomplishments within and beyond the University of Maryland.
