Lecturer Aysha Jawed has three new publications out:
"Locked out of healthcare: A descriptive context of migrant health considerations in pediatrics" was co-written with Christine Peck and featured in The International Journal of Health Planning and Management. The paper presents a descriptive reflective commentary on migrant health considerations for children.
"An Honorable Ending: Mobilizing Bereavement Resources Amidst a Christmas Tragedy" is a case reflection on mobilizing bereavement resources to honor a child at the end-of-life published in the Journal of Social Work in End-Of-Life and Palliative Care.
"Hard to Reach or Just Not Enough? A Narrative Review of Inpatient Tobacco Cessation Programs in Pediatrics" was co-written with Mandeep Jassal and is a review paper on inpatient tobacco cessation interventions in pediatrics. It was published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.
