THE POET X by Elizabeth Acevedo (MFA '15) is on Longlist for National Book Award

The National Book Foundation recognized ten authors for "Young People's Literature."  

Acevedo's novel, The Poet X, "crackles with energy and snaps with authenticity and voice," according to Justina Ireland.
