Ph.D. Candidate Michelle Boswell's Recent Accomplishments

Michelle Boswell presented a paper recently and has recieved a fellowship.

Michelle presented "Global Tides, Local Networks in Mary Somerville's On the Connection of the Physical Sciences" at the first ever supernumerary conference of the North American, British, and Australasian professional Victorianist societies, NAVSA/BAVS/AVSA, held in June in Venice, Italy. In October, she will present "Demonstrations of Love and Physics: Evidence of the Invisible in Arabella Buckley's The Fairy-land of Science" at the NAVSA annual conference in Pasadena, California. This past spring, Michelle also received a 2013-14 Ann G. Wylie Dissertation Fellowship from the Graduate School.
