Maud Casey, Publication in New England Review, Lecture, and Conference

Maud Casey's story, "The City Itself," is forthcoming in New England Review.

The story is part of a larger collaboration with the photographer Laura Larson called The City of Incurable Women.Maud was the Visiting Writer at the Vermont Studio Center in July and gave a lecture, "Hello, Darkness, My Old Friend: The Sound of Silence in Fiction," at the 2019 Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, available as an audio recording here.
