Mal Haselberger recently published a short article, "The Feminist Possibilities of Print: Jane Grabhorn's Jumbo Press" on the Alphabettes blog.
The piece is a "showcase for work, commentary, and research on lettering, typography, and type design." The work was originally presented at the American Printing History Association Conference in 2019 which was hosted at the University of Maryland, College Park.
During Summer 2020, Mal held a Junior Fellows Program fellowship at the Library of Congress, completing work on Literary Program Development in the Literary Initiatives division. In the fellowship, she will work in the arts-administration position to develop and manage program content for the National Book Festival, U.S. Poet Laureate Signature Project, and the National Ambassador for Young People's Literature.
