Hidden Traditions: Maryland Palestrina Choir & Terpoets

Join the Maryland Palestrina Choir and Terpoets for a free concert ”Hidden Traditions” on May 5, 2026 at 7 p.m. in the Leah M. Smith Recital Hall at The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. The program will explore music of the Medieval and Renaissance by lesser-known and underrepresented composers, challenging a narrow definition of what “Renaissance music” means. It will include chant, sacred motets and madrigals from both Europe and the Americas, set alongside poetry and historical notes about the artists.
