Toyin Adeyemi

Toyin Adeyemi (she/her) holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Columbia University’s School of the Arts. She is the CEO and Founder of ALCG Books, a publishing startup that supports writers whose voices are underrepresented in American publishing. The daughter of immigrants from Nigeria, Toyin was born and raised in Seattle, WA. She has taught Creative Writing, Technical Writing, and Composition at American University, through Columbia University's C/AT program, and at Bellevue College. Her academic interests include comparative literature with an emphasis on postcoloniality and literature of the global South.
