Pamela Orel

Pam Orel  teaches business and technical writing at the University of Maryland in College Park, which she joined in 2012. She has taught in multiple online and in-person formats and compressed semesters like Summer and Winter sessions. She formerly served as a writing teacher and administrator at Rutgers University in New Jersey.

A former member of the University Senate, where she served three years, she now is a professional track faculty representative of the Collegiate Council, part of the College of Arts and Humanities.  She is a longtime volunteer panelist with the University of Maryland Honor Council, which considers and decides allegations of academic integrity violations.  

She resides in Anne Arundel County, MD.
