Kathleen Orr

Kathleen Orr earned an MS in Curriculum & Instruction from the National University in San Diego and a PhD in Professional Studies in Education, Writing, and Composition from Capella University in Minneapolis. Since 2015 she has taught writing at the University of Maryland’s Global Campus, and she was also a high school choral music director in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Kathleen’s teaching experience extends to the martial arts studio, where she is a 6th-degree black belt and master instructor in the United Tang Soo Do Federation. Kathleen is teaching Writing Case Studies & Investigative Reports and Technical Writing in PWP this semester.
