Dylan Carpenter

Dylan Carpenter received his BA from Colorado College and his MFA from Johns Hopkins University, where he was awarded the Benjamin T. Sankey Fellowship. His poetry and translations from Spanish have appeared in periodicals including Agenda, Cimarron Review, The Hopkins Review, The Iowa Review, Literary Matters, Modern Poetry in Translation, and Poetry Northwest. He has taught courses in academic writing, creative writing, English as a foreign language, professional writing, and rhetoric at the Catholic University of America, Johns Hopkins University, La Escola de Arte e Superior de Deseño Pablo Picasso, La Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Lorca, and the University of Maryland, College Park, where he joined the English department in 2023.
