Daniel Saalfeld

Daniel Saalfeld's poems have appeared or are forthcoming in many literary journals, including The Hopkins Review, The Southeast Review, The Seattle Review, Cimarron Review, The New York Quarterly, The South Carolina Review, Chicago Quarterly Review, Tar River Poetry, Valparaiso Poetry Review, The American Journal of Poetry, storySouth, South Dakota Review, North Carolina Literary Review, Gargoyle, Poet Lore, and The Pinch. A Fulbright Scholar recipient, he lectured on modern and contemporary poetry and creative writing in Russia. He received his BA in English and History from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Before receiving his MFA from American University, he studied French at the University of Burgundy.
