Aubrey Zinn
Aubrey Zinn teaches in the Academic Writing Program and the Professional Writing Program. Aubrey holds a Master of Arts in Global Humanities from Towson University, which culminated in her thesis on using popular culture to bridge the achievement gap. Aubrey holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Delaware. Her research interests involve the intersection of popular culture and academia and seeking authentic audiences for student work; however, her current in-progress research topic is titled Helpful Helping: A primer for family and friends. Aubrey has taught in higher education since 2007; before that, she taught high school English for nine years.
