Thanks to the united efforts of English majors to overcome budget cuts, the Paper Shelll Review, UMD's only literary journal devoted to undergraduate scholarly and critical inquiry, will continue publication next year.
The Boren Scholarship, a Department of Defense award, provides up to $20,000 for long-term (two semester or longer), language-focused study abroad.
