Sangeeta Ray attended a few conferences and gave a couple of talks in AY 2017-18 She is presenting a paper at the Novel conference at Cornell University in June 2018.
A special issue she edited for the South Asian Review on the "Future of South Asian Literary Studies" in which she also has an essay is forthcoming in May 2018. She was elected as the Second VP of the ACLA in 2018. She will be President of the Organization in 2020. She is also serving on the MLA Committee for the James Russell Lowell Book Prize, 2018-2020
