Undergraduate Research Awards

Beginning this Spring 2011, the University of Maryland Libraries—a campus center for research, education & learning—are offering up to 3 awards of $1,000 each to undergraduate students

The student must submit the following documents:

1. Online application form
2. Reflective essay (750 words or less) describing applicant’s research strategies and use of library tools and information resources.
3. A final version of the research paper/project.
4. A bibliography or other appropriate listing of consulted sources.
5. A letter of support from the sponsoring teacher or librarian.

The deadline for submission of applications is March 1^st, 2010.
