Tita Chico Forthcoming Book from Stanford University Press

This spring, Tita was invited to speak at Kings' College London (UK), the University of Kent (UK), the University of California, Berkeley, and Indiana University, and she also presented new work on mathematics and the periodical press at ASECS.

Stanford University Press is publishing Tita Chico's new book, The Experimental Imagination: Literary Knowledge and Science in the British Enlightenment, which tells the story of how literariness came to be distinguished from its epistemological sibling, science, as a source of truth about the natural and social worlds in the British Enlightenment.
