Singer Named One of UMD's Undergraduate Researchers of the Year

Congratulations to Sarah Ann Singer, who was selected as one of Maryland's "Undergraduate Researchers of the Year" for 2012-13 by the Maryland Center for Undergraduate Research.

Congratulations to Sarah Ann Singer, who was selected as one of Maryland's "Undergraduate Researchers of the Year" for 2012-13 by the Maryland Center for Undergraduate Research. Sarah is a senior English and Women’s Studies double major who is minoring in French Studies. She plans to teach with the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth this summer and will be entering the MA/PhD program in English at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this fall.Sarah will have the opportunity to present her research in rhetoric and composition and feminist science studies on May 1, 2013, during the opening ceremonies for Undergraduate Research Day. The event will take place in the Grand Ballroom at the Stamp Student Union.In recognition of her achievements, Sarah will receive a $1000 award and a plaque.
