Sept. 5, 12:00 noon: Art History Professor Meredith Gill, "Augustine's Dog"

August 30, 2012 English | Center for Literary and Comparative Studies

Join the Medieval and Early Modern Graduate Field Committee for their first lecture of the semester.

Dr. Meredith Gill, Professor of Fifteenth- and Sixteenth-Century Italian Renaissance Art in the Dept. of Art History and Archaeology (ARTH), will offer her presentation at noon in the Collaboratory, located in room 4213 Art/Sociology Building.

Her lecture, enigmatically titled "Augustine's Dog," is also the inaugural event of ARTH's Pressly Forum, named for our recently retired colleague Prof. William Pressly (see http://www.arthistory.umd.edu/events/PresslyForum.html.) .
