Sangeeta Ray appointed to Board of Supervisors of The English Institute at Harvard University

Professor Ray was also one of the presenters at the Dartmouth Futures of American Studies Institute in June; her talk was titled "Situating Postcoloniality in American Literary Studies." She is, for the second year, the chair of the committee for the Bernheimer Dissertation Prize in Comparative Literary Studies awarded by ACLA.  And on October 11th, Professor Ray will be giving a talk at the Rachel Carson Center in Munich, Germany titled, "Aesthetics, Ethics, Politics: Representations of Environmentalism of the Poor."
