Bob Levine has given recent talks on Frederick Douglass at the Sorbonne, the University of Paris, Edinburgh University, and the Douglass Papers in Indianapolis.
He is the guest editor of a just-published special issue on Melville's under-studied novel Israel Potter (Leviathan: A Journal of Melville Studies), and he wrote the Foreword to If I Survive: Frederick Douglass and Family in the Walter O. Evans Collection (Edinburgh University Press).
