Emily Brandchaft Mitchell shares several recent creative and critical publications!
Associate Professor Emily Brandchaft Mitchell’s story "The Church of Divine Electricity" appeared in the fall 2022 issue of The Southern Review, and her story "Mothers" is forthcoming in The Missouri Review.
Her story "Forgotten Pastimes of the Victorians" won a 2021 Glenna Luschei Award from Prairie Schooner magazine.
Mitchell also reviewed Cormac McCarthy's new novels, The Passenger and Stella Maris, for the Washington Independent Review of Books. Mitchell claims, "The Passenger and Stella Maris embrace dystopia with lopsided degrees of success." Read her review here.
