Professor Regina Harrison filmed, directed, produced, and translated a 25-minute DVD "GRINGO KULLKI: SUCRES TO DOLLARS IN ECUADOR" on the change from sucres to U.S. dollars among the indigenous communities of the Andean highlands of Ecuador. Quichua-speaking Andean natives analyze the cultural impact of this monetary change as seen in their villages and communities. Subtitles in English. This project was partially funded with a Fulbright-Hays fellowship to Ecuador.
