Pat Herron and Students Tour the Library of Congress

Pat Herron, with assistance from Yelena Luckert, organized three tours for UM graduate students to the Library of Congress in October and November. 

The session was led by Abby Yochelson, LoC’s literature reference librarian, and included a session on research basics and tours of the Main Reading Room and the Newspaper and Current Periodicals Reading Room. On the way out the students visited the Reader Registration Room where they were able to obtain their Readers’ cards. Eleven English graduate students attended.
