Oliver Brearey will present papers at two writing studies conferences this summer. These papers include "The New Deal and the Gold Mountain," which he will present at the 2018 Mid-Atlantic Conference on College Composition and Communication at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia on 25 May, and "Threshold Concepts in Job-Search Training Programs," which he will be presenting on invitation at the Howe Center for Writing Excellence's 7th Biennial Threshold Concepts Conference, which will take place on 13-16 June at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
