Nicholas A. Basbanes, who writes and lectures widely about books and book culture, will discuss and sign his new book, ON PAPER: THE EVERYTHING OF ITS TWO-THOUSAND-YEAR HISTORY (Knopf, 2013) , at the Library of Congress at noon on Monday, Oct. 28. The presentation, sponsored by the Center for the Book in the Library of Congress, will take place in the James Madison Memorial Building on the sixth floor in the Montpelier Room. It is free and open to the public.
