Brian Richardson edited and introduced a special section of the journal Storyworlds on Feminism and Unnatural Narrative Theory (four essays).

He published three other articles: “The Status of Historical Characters in Drama: Ontological, Aesthetic, Verisimilar,” in Letras de Hoje 53.1 (Brazil); “Unusual Voices and Multiple Identities,” Pronouns in Literature, edited by Alison Gibbons and Andrea Macrae. Villeneuve d’Asq: Presses Universitaires du Septentrion. His entry, “Reale und implizite Autoren” [‘Real and Implied Authors’]” appeared in the handbook, Grundthemen der Literaturwissenschaft: Erzählen, edited by Martin Huber and Wolf Schmid, W. de Gruyter, Berlin.

He gave a plenary lecture on “Unnatural Characters” at the University of Coimbra (Portugal) in November; the talk is being translated into Portuguese for publication.
