MFA Students Fruchter, Lasky, and Parsons Nominated for AWP Intro Journals Project

Current MFA students Temim Fruchter (fiction), Max Lasky (poetry), and Hunter Parsons (poetry) have been announced as nominees for the Association of Writers & Writing Program's Intro Journals Project (2019)

The students' work has been sent on for final judging in the national competition. Winners will be notified in the spring of 2019 and will receive publication in a participating literary journal and a $100 honorarium.

Temim Fruchter for her story, "Hot"

Nominees in poetry:

Max Lasky for his poems, "Possession" & "Meditation on a Trap Door"
Hunter Parsons for her poem, "The Japanese Beetle"
