Liz Patterson wins Library Award for Undergraduate Research

Patterson's project consisted of a poster, an essay on the experience of researching, and a biography on the Maryland suffragist Eliza F. Messenger.

photo Liz PattersonLiz Patterson is an undergraduate student from La Plata, Maryland. She transferred from the College of Southern Maryland in Spring 2016. Currently, she is majoring in English and History, and hopes to continue studying as a graduate student. She is planning to earn a master's degree in librarian science and information services and become a research librarian. In her free time, she likes to play video games like Overwatch and Splatoon 2 with her friends.
