Lindsay Bernal to Read at Area Bookstores

Lindsay Bernal will read from What It Doesn't Have to Do With on October 21 in DC and October 22 in Baltimore.

Bernal will be joined by award-winning poet and translator, Will Schutt, and poet and fellow National Poetry Series winner, GennaRose Nethercott.

Will Schutt is the author of Westerly, winner of the Yale Younger Poets Prize, selected by Carl Phillips. He is also the translator of My Life, I Lapped It Up: Selected Poems of Edoardo Sanguineti, which was published earlier this month by Oberlin College Press. GennaRose Nethercott's first book of poems, The Lumberjack's Dove, was selected by Louise Glück as a winner of the 2017 National Poetry Series and recently published by Ecco/HarperCollins. GennaRose will be performing an excerpt from the book with live shadow puppetry designed by Wooly Mar animating her reading.
