LGBT Studies Lecture

Selly Thiam will be presenting "None on Record: Stories of Queer Africa," 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, 1121 Tawes, Ulrich Recital Hall

Selly Thiam is founder and executive producer of NONE ON RECORD, a transnational audio-based oral history project that collects the stories of Africans that identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer from the African continent and in diasporic communities. She is a journalist and oral historian whose work has appeared on NPR and PBS, and in ColorLines magazine.
