Lecturer Adam Lloyd Attends and Presents at 78th Annual International Convention of the Association for Business Communication

Adam Lloyd had an incredible time attending, and presenting a paper at, the 78th Annual International Convention of the Association for Business Communication in New Orleans 10/23-10/26.

Says Adam, "There is so much great work and innovation going on around the globe in professional writing/communication and it was invigorating to take part in the discussions and to meet the instructors and practitioners who are forging new paths in so many interesting directions. I was also honored to have been selected as a recipient of the ABC Graduate Student Travel Scholarship." "I highly recommend that the PWP instructors try to take part in the 2014 convention next October in Philadelphia. The organization is right up our alley and we have a lot to learn from, and to contribute to, a convention like this. The ABC journals will also be changing their names next year in order to better represent the nature of the organization and its members: Business Communication Quarterly is becoming Business and Professional Communication Quarterly and Journal of Business Communication is becoming International Journal of Business Communication."
