Justin Lohr and Heather Lindenman Recent Publication

Justin Lohr and PhD alumna and Assistant Professor at Elon University Heather Lindenman were recently published in Reflections: A Journal of Public Rhetoric, Civic Writing, and Service-Learning.

Their article, "What Changes When We 'Write for Change'?: Considering the Consequences of a High School-University Writing Partnership," examines the impact of the department's Writing for Change program on the high school participants in the program.  It focuses in particular on the students' development as writers and rhetoricians and their perceptions of that growth and its relevance to their academic work.

A second article on the program is forthcoming in Community Literacy Journal.
