Jeremy Metz Travels to Haiti for Dissertation Research
In August, Jeremy Metz recorded interviews in French with seven prominent Haitian authors, including Yanick Lahens, Évelyne Trouillot, and Syto Cavé, in connection with his Comparative Literature dissertation project on Francophone and Anglophone Caribbean trauma literature. His travel to Haiti was funded by a grant from the University of Maryland's Latin American Study Center.
