James F. Harris Arts and Humanities Visionary Scholarship Awarded to English Major

Congratulations to Alexander J. Clayborne, who was named one of three Harris scholarships winners. A.J. is an English and Classics double major, and will attend Harvard Law School next fall.

Named in honor of Dr. James F. Harris, former Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, this endowed scholarship has been established in recognition of his visionary leadership. The students awarded have a GPA of 3.6 or higher and demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and interest in activities that exemplify key principles of an arts and humanities education.
