Jack Stutz wins this year's Jack Godfrey Scholarship

Jack Stutz is this year's Jack Godfrey scholarship for his short story “Dear Georgia”. It's the first time the award has gone to an English major.

The Jack Godfrey Memorial Scholarship provides financial support to a University of Maryland undergraduate who demonstrates a passion for learning and shares Jack’s interest in creative writing.

The four runners up for this year's prize are Maria Aragon, Neida Mbuia-Joao, Caitlin McCann, Sara Miller, three of whom also also ENGL majors.
