Happy Earth Day!

April 25, 2017 English | Center for Literary and Comparative Studies

There has never been a more important time for Terps to continue leading the way on climate action and sustainability.

This week, President Loh highlighted the importance of Earth Day and the upcoming March for Science taking place this Saturday. In his campus-wide address he stated:

"A diverse coalition of organizations and individuals will march in support of research that expands the frontiers of knowledge and improves our health, security, economy, and society. The rallying cry is 'Science not Silence.'"

We join President Loh in echoing this sentiment and we hope Terps, both near and far, will join us this Saturday in D.C. to honor science and sustainability.
