Congratulations to Christina Walter and Vessela Valiavitcharska, winners of this year's GEO Faculty Awards.
Professor Christina Walter received the Faculty Service Award. This award is given to a faculty member of the English department who has provided outstanding service to graduate students.
Professor Vessela Valiavitcharska received the Kandice Chuh Mentorship Award. This is given to a faculty member who, through intellectual generosity, academic support, and professional development, demonstrates an extraordinary commitment to mentoring graduate students.
The awards were decided by a vote of the general GEO membership. Congratulations again to Christina and Vessela!
