Gerard Passannante Awarded Bogliasco Foundation Fellowship

April 17, 2013 English | Center for Literary and Comparative Studies

Congratulations to Jerry Passannante, who has won a residential fellowship at the Bogliasco Foundation for next fall.

Located on the Italian Riviera in the village of Bogliasco, the Liguria Study Center provides residential fellowships for qualified persons working on advanced creative or scholarly projects in the arts and humanities. The Study Center is one of the few residential institutions in the world dedicated exclusively to the humanistic disciplines: Archaeology, Architecture/Landscape Architecture, Classics, Dance, Film/Video, History, Literature, Music, Philosophy, Theater, and the Visual Arts.

The Study Center was founded in 1996; during sixteen years of activity it has hosted almost 700 fellows from 40 countries. The Liguria Study Center is administered by the Bogliasco Foundation, an international operating foundation that was created in 1991 by a group of artists and scholars from Italy, Switzerland, and the United States.
