Faculty Receive RASA and CAPAA grants from the Graduate School

The following faculty have received RASA and CAPAA grants from the graduate school for 2014-15:

  • Professor Elizabeth Arnold won a semester Creative and Performing Arts Award for work on a book of poems titled "Blind."
  • Professor Sharada Balachandran Orihuela won a summer Research and Scholarship Award for work on her book "Contraband, Counternarratives, and the Case for Emergent Personhoods in American Literature."
  • Professor Tita Chico won a semester Research and Scholarship Award for work on her book "Experimentalism: Literary Knowledge and Science in Eighteenth-Century Britain."
  • Professor Ted Leinwand won a semester Research and Scholarship Award for work on his book "Writers Reading Shakespeare."
  • Professor Zita Nunes won a semester Research and Scholarship Award for work on her book "The Hue of the Dove: The Peace Movement and Black Internationalism, 1888-1930."
  • Professor Randy Ontiveros won a summer Research and Scholarship Award for work on his book "SueƱos: The Suburbs in Latino History and Culture."
  • Professor Kellie Robertson won a semester Research and Scholarship Award for work on her book "Middle English Keywords."
