Tom Earles, Assistant Director of the Writing Center, was awarded an Erasmus+ ICM grant for a collaboration between UMD's Writing Center and Lund University's Academic Support Centre.

Tom Earles, Assistant Director of the Writing Center, was awarded an Erasmus+ ICM grant for a collaboration between UMD's Writing Center and Lund University's Academic Support Centre. This collaboration will involve a series of presentations and workshops addressing the intersections of creative writing and writing center programs. Strengthening the partnership between our universities will also set the stage for ongoing cooperation, which may include the development of a global classroom on tutor training and EFL/ESL tutoring.
