Arhu Emeriti Faculty Granted

Six ARHU faculty received emeriti status from UMD in Fall 2016.

The University of Maryland confers the title of professor emerita or emeritus upon retired faculty who have made extraordinary contributions to the University of Maryland during their tenure. This year, UMD designated six emeriti faculty from ARHU:

John Auchard, Department of English Vincent Carretta, Department of English Seung-Kyung Kim, Department of Women’s Studies Shirley Logan, Department of English Leigh Ryan, Department of English Nancy Struna, Department of American Studies
