Alumna Hannah Baker Saltmarsh Accepts Assistant Professor Position in English at Dillard University in New Orleans

Hannah Baker Saltmarsh (2004 B.A. in English and 2006 MFA in Creative Writing, both at UMD) accepted a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in English at Dillard University in New Orleans, LA.

Her MFA was directed by Stanley Plumly, with Michael Collier, Sheila Jelen, Joshua Weiner, and Liz Arnold on her committee. Her PhD was completed at the Univ. of York (UK) in 2011; she decided to study in England after doing a study abroad summer program under Michael Olmert back in 2003. Congratulations, Hannah!
