Congratulations to Annette Debo, WCU's recipient of the 2014 UNC Board of Governors Award for Excellence in Teaching!
From Western Carolina's website: Annette Debo professor of English at Western Carolina University, has been named one of the best teachers in the University of North Carolina system in recognition of a teaching style that emphasizes listening to her students instead of merely lecturing to them.
This award is given annually to one faculty member at each of the 17 UNC campuses.
Annette received her PhD in 1998 and her concentration is American Literature. She is currently on faculty at Western Carolina University.
