Aaron Brown's Poetry Collection Wins Awards

The poetry collection, Acacia Road, by Aaron Brown, has been awarded the Nelson Poetry Book Award by the Kansas Authors Club. 

This is an annual award given to a poetry collection written by a resident of Kansas. This year's award was presented in a banquet ceremony by Kevin Rabas, the Poet Laureate of Kansas. 

Aaron Brown received his MFA from the University of Maryland. 

Acacia Road was also awarded the Gerald Cable Book Award when it was selected by Silverfish Review Press for publication this year.
