Sarah Woldekidan

Sarah Woldekidan joined the English Department in November 2019 as the Scheduling Coordinator. She is a DC native that now calls Prince George’s County, Maryland home. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a concentration in Popular Culture and Cinema Studies. She previously worked at the Los Angeles campus of the New York Film Academy as the Director of Scheduling. She is a self-proclaimed film and comic book nerd that also enjoys photography as a hobby. Sarah enjoys working in the world of academia because of how influential the university experience can be for young adults and how young people revolutionize society in every generation with what they learn in an academic environment.
