Rachel Waugh
Rachel Waugh has been teaching creative and academic writing at the University of Maryland since 2012.
Rachel has an M.F.A. in fiction writing from the University of Maryland, an MST in education from The New School, and an MA in English language and literature from the University of Glasgow. For a couple of years, she wrote a column for the New York Daily News, and has also written for the Discovery Channel, Wondertime Magazine, and The Huffington Post. She was an assistant editor at Scholastic, Inc. and has written extensively for various Scholastic publications.
A chapter of her novel in progress, The Sugar Factory, was recently published by Narrative Magazine.
